Third Party Privacy and Data Protection Statement
This statement sets out how we, Pale Blue Dot Energy (“we”, “us”, “our”), collect, use and protect any information that you give us, including any information provided through this website.
Pale Blue Dot Energy is committed to ensuring that any personal data we hold is dealt with in line with the Data Protection Act (1998), the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which came into force in May 2018.
Any personal information collected will be used fairly, stored safely and not disclosed to any other person unlawfully. We will not share your personal information with any other organisation without informing you unless we are required to do so by law. Pale Blue Dot Energy may share data within our organisation in order to help us carry out our business and improve our service.
We are committed to ensuring that any personal information that we collect is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to continually safeguard the security of the information that we collect.
Collection and use of personal information
Upon signing up to the Pale Blue Dot Energy mailing list, personal information (name, email address and organisation) will only be processed for the purposes of sharing with you, by email, company updates and business insights. The law states that for each purpose we must explain to you what legal grounds we are using to justify our processing. Where we process your personal information we will have one of more of the following reasons:
- To provide a requested service or carry out a contract with you;
- Where we have a legal obligation;
- Where we have a legitimate interest;
- Where we have your consent.
When we have a business or commercial reason of our own to use your personal information, this is called a “legitimate interest”. Where we rely on legitimate interest for processing your information, we carry out a ‘balancing test’ to ensure that our processing is necessary and that your fundamental rights of privacy are not outweighed by our legitimate interests, before we go ahead with such processing.
We may only share your personal information with third parties to comply with a legal obligation; when we believe in good faith that an applicable law requires it; at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation; to detect and protect against fraud, or any technical or security vulnerabilities; to respond to an emergency; or otherwise to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of third parties, visitors to the our website, our business or the public.
If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, or you would like to withdraw consent, please email us as soon as possible at info@pale-blu.com.

This anonymous information is generated through the web hosting server in the form of analytics data.
