Acorn is a joint venture, benefiting from the collective expertise of Storegga, Shell UK, Harbour Energy and North Sea Midstream Partners.
Together with National Gas Transmission’s SCO2T Connect Project, would provide the critical CO2 transport and storage infrastructure to enable the decarbonisation of the Scottish Cluster.
The Scottish Cluster is a collection of industrial, power and hydrogen businesses in the Central Belt and North East of Scotland who will capture their CO2 emissions and then move them permanently into the Acorn geological stores, deep under the North Sea.
