The Acorn team facilitated three local high schools’ entry to the ‘Shell Girls in Energy’ initiative to take part in a live Acorn Question Time, where students were asked to view specially-created Acorn ‘Lockdown Lowdown’ YouTube clips and prepare questions for young professionals working on the Acorn Project.

Students signed on to a live discussion panel with the Acorn Team and were able to ask questions about the project; working in low carbon energy; and the career paths of young professionals working on the Acorn Project.

The team went on to invite the group of students enrolled in ‘Girls in Energy’ to a formal Acorn CCS public consultation event at St Fergus Village Hall. It was great to see the girls at the event and answer the questions they had prepared on the project.
